COVID-19 has had a dramatic impact on the fashion industry. Fashion brands to restructure their value chains and refine strategies overcome negative consequences of lockdown. An analysis Italian industry is used examine how companies responded challenges pandemic they were able find competitive solutions. Qualitative discuss case Italy, country that was particularly affected by COVID-19. The research shows invested in three different directions obstacles posed emergency: refocusing manufacturing, investing sustainability (especially social), relying digital technologies (e.g., e-commerce videoconferencing) interact with remote customers. theoretical practical contributions this study are discussed.
